We had an initial deadline of April 10th for hiring all ESY staff, however, we are still processing applications and placing students and staff. Acceptance letters will begin arriving via e-mail today and will progress throughout the week.
Teaching Assistants are a key member of each Mid-Valley program. They perform many types of duties including instructing students under the supervision of the classroom teacher, supervising students in the integration of community settings, assisting students with personal care or many other types of supportive activities. They help build positive and purposeful relationships with pupils, parents, teachers and other members of the school staff. They play essential roles in the team, contributing their skills in helping pupils grow, learn and develop into productive members of the community. The Mid-Valley team includes over 60 outstanding Teaching Assistants who ensure that all of us are working together to meet the unique needs of each learner.
