We had an initial deadline of April 10th for hiring all ESY staff, however, we are still processing applications and placing students and staff. Acceptance letters will begin arriving via e-mail today and will progress throughout the week.
We will park at Brewster Creek Forest Preserve located at 6N921 Illinois Route 25 in St. Charles, IL where families will check in showing their ticket (via mobile device or printed). Then take your little goblins down the road of Honey Bridge Ranch as you trick or treat with your group at various distanced stations including a 4x4 Hearse! You will receive candy at these stations from Shrek and Fiona with their donkeys, Little Bo Peep with her sheep, a Cowboy with his horse, and the cast of the Wizard of Oz. Choose between two time slots: 1-2:45pm or 3-4:30pm. We are limiting the amount of tickets at each timeslot due to Covid so that families can spread out and take their time. This will be all outdoors, so dress for the weather. The path is approximately 1-2 miles, so plan accordingly or let us know if you have mobility concerns. After you have trick or treated your way to the barn and finished with your activities, you may take our hay ride back to your vehicle with a suggested donation of $2 per person. You must ride only with the party you came with.
Along the way, we also will have a Pumpkin Contest (entered by our students and volunteers) for you to cast your vote. There will be a professional photographer that will capture your memories, a FREE link will be emailed after the event. There will also be a Costume Contest at each timeslot for the best youth and best adult with a special prize!
